Hope

'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.' (Romans 15:13)

In the midst of life’s challenges, hope often seems elusive.  Yet because of God’s unconditional love for us and His consistent faithfulness, hope is available to us.

Hope is something solid when it is based on our trust in Jesus.  The question may then be, ‘Can I really trust Him?’  Hurts and disappointments, confusion, the complexities of life can contribute to doubt, perhaps despair.

Here is a key to help in the journey.  Psalm 62 says to pour your hearts out to God, for He is loving and strong.  Philippians 4 tells us to let Him know everything that is going on, to release what is inside, to be open and honest.  God offers us a supernatural exchange. He receives what we release and in its’ place gives us peace, which surpasses our understanding and stands as a guard before our hearts and minds.  This peace is present when we believe that He has heard and is at work on our behalf.

God’s desire is to fill you with peace, to release joy within you and cause your life to overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit at work within you.

If you would like to experience this more in your life, we encourage you to open your heart and release what is going on inside to Father God.  He longs to reveal to you that He is trustworthy and to fill you with joy, peace and hope.

Consider these words - ‘Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him. The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him, to the one who seeks Him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.’  (Lamentations 3:22-26)
